A long day

Charles has lived in Midland Texas, since 1976. Before that in Rhode Island/New England, where he began playing 6 and 12 string acoustic guitar shows at coffee-houses or on a foggy night somewhere on a campus near the ocean. Then two years in Louisiana, doing the same.

His music genre is best described as singer/songwriter, new acoustic, contemporary folk. Charles focuses on a finger-picking style of playing, creating his own flavor in original tunes and cover songs. Melodic and intimate instrumentals are usually a part of Charles’ set list, as much as vocals that tell stories and tug at your thoughts and feelings for just a while. These are local spots Charles has performed:

  • The Artizen

  • Cabin Creek Coffee and Tea

  • Mulberry Café

  • The Wine Rack

  • Alldredge Gardens Café

  • Brew Street Bakery

  • Ellen Noel Art Museum

  • Mud Rock Studio- Opre Night

  • Basin Burger House

  • Higher Grounds Coffee Shop

  • Texas Sun Winery

A mix of vocals, and instrumentals. To conserve space and listening time, some are short "sample" versions of my own or well known covers. Enjoy!
